The semi-annual Studio Recitals (Midterm and Pre-Summer), and other occasional small-scale
concerts provide performance opportunities to enrich students musical experiences so they
can truly understand the meaning of music, which is, to perform and to share.
PERFORMER'S DRESS CODE
No jeans, boots, T-shirts, or sneakers are allowed on the stage. Please dress something warm, dressy,
and formal.

REGULATIONS OF THE STUDIO RECITAL
To All Students (including non-performers):
The performers of Part 2 are not required to show up in Part 1, but mandatory to attend
Part 2 and Spring Concert. Other students are mandatory to attend both Part 1 and Part 2,
regardless of whether you are a performer this time.
In order to show respect and support for each other, all students
must stay for the entire concert program.
Any unexcused no show, late arrival, or leaving before it ends will be considered
a serious breach which will affect the individual student's good standing eligibility for performing
in the next recital, and may even lead to terminating lessons in the studio if it happens twice.
Attendance will be taken at the door.
Please prepare a pencil (required) and a clipboard (optional, but suggested, to facilitate writing
without a desk) to make notes during the recital for every piece listed on your Recital Writing Sheet.
Parents please assist your young kid. Afterwards, please bring your writing sheet back to me in your
next lesson for discussion.
Please do NOT read a book, play a video game, or do anything other than listening to the
performance.
To Performers:
All performers are expected to arrive at their assigned warm-up time.
Memory is required for any solo piece; students are not allowed to bring any music on stage
unless with the consent of the teacher. Yet students should still bring their own music
to the recital hall in case one needs to fix memory slips.
Please adjust the distance of piano bench before starting to play.
Rental fee of venue is $20 per family (applying to performers only).
To Audience:
Please stay quiet when the recital is in progress. All cell phones shall be turned off before the
concert starts. Sorry, noisemakers will be asked to leave.
Please do NOT leave your seat in the middle of any performance. For Restroom Users: The usher at
the door will provide quickly and quietly in/out between 2 performers' playing.
No food or drink is allowed in the concert hall at any time.
When the concert is in progress, please do NOT use the front door.
Please do NOT enter the reception area during intermission or at anytime before the concert ends.
Please clean up your own trash before leaving the concert hall.
