About the Performers

Michelle Gong is 8 year old, 2nd grade student at C. T. Douglas School in Acton, MA. She started her piano lessons with Philip Feng in Nov. 2008. Michelle won the 2nd place in Kenneth A. Darrell Memorial Piano Competition in 2010.

Andrew Guo is 9 years old. He is a 3rd grader at Main Dunstable Elementary School in Nashua. Andrew started his piano lessons with Mr. Feng in July 2008. His favorite musician is Ludwig Van Beethoven.

10-year-old Fianna Ton is in 4th grade at Bicentennial Elementary School in Nashua. Starting at the age of 3, she has been learning piano for 6 years with Philip Feng. She enjoys music very much. She also plays clarinet in her school band and knows how to play soprano recorder. Fianna is also in her school’s select chorus. Fianna won 2nd place in the Kenneth A. Darrell Memorial Piano Competition in 2010.

Julia Feng-Bahns is a 10-year-old 5th grader at Norman E Day School, Westford, MA. She started taking piano lessons from Mr. Philip Feng since July 2005. She loves music. She is now also learning violin in the school and practicing violin in school orchestra. She performed marvelously on National Piano-Playing Audition on April 2008. She won the 3rd place in Granite State Piano Competition in 2010.

Ashley Chen is a 11-year-old 5th grade student at Bicentennial School in Nashua, NH. She started piano lessons with Philip Feng in July, 2006. She also plays flute in the school band.

Tiffany Lu is a 11-year old 7th grader at Stony Brook Middle school in Westford, MA. She started her piano lessons with Philip Feng since she was six. She enjoys music and also plays flute at her school band. She won 3rd place for her age group at the Granite State Piano Competition in 2008. She also won 1st place in the Granite State Competition for the Junior A Category in 2010. She placed 2nd in the Bay State competition in 2010 as well.

Cindy Sun is 12 year old 7th grader at Stony Brook Middle School in Westford, MA. She started piano lessons with Philip Feng in July 2005. She enjoys music and has also played violin in her school orchestra for 4 years. She won 2nd place at the Granite State Competition twice and 2nd place at the Massachusetts Bay State Competition once.

Angela Gong is a 12 year-old, 7th grade student at R. J. Grey Junior High School in Acton, MA. She has played piano for seven years, and has studied with Mr. Philip Feng since 2005. Angela enjoys music very much and loves playing piano. She was a prize winner at the Bay State Piano Competition in 2009. Angela has performed at C.T. Douglas Elementary School at her graduation ceremony as well as several nursing homes.
